SISTER MISSION RELATIONSHIP
Under this program, well-established and successful missions provide a helping hand in various ways to new or developing missions. Whilst in some circumstances, financial aid may be available, the emphasis is on:

prayer support
provision of information and knowledge
assisting in training of staff
helping with program design
giving advice on fundraising, and
in some, cases preparing documentation for funding assistance to
Government, trusts and foundations and other funding sources
staff exchanges
network material aid, where possible
other appropriate assistance.

The assisting mission, where possible and feasible

will act as an advocate and sponsor for beneficiary/recipient mission
will arrange visitation to beneficiary/recipient mission to provide advice etc.

PARTNERSHIP MISSION RELATIONSHIP

prayer support for each other
exchange information on all aspects of mission work
where possible, arrange staff exchanges and training
and any other appropriate actions.

There has been a great deal of activity in the Sister/Partner Mission program over the years. It really covers a large part of the globe and involves many of our missions throughout the world. There have been staff exchanges, leadership exchanges, shipments of resources and limited donations of revenue. Members of the CMWA Board have visited dozens of the missions and have assisted many of our missions through networking them with others City Missions around the world.

Though there is more work to do in the development of this program, there has been a major contribution to building relationships and strengthening the outreach of City Missions and its primary purpose of enhancing the proclamation of the Gospel and meeting human need in urban areas of the world.
